This plane made emergency landing with damaged engine near (30 km to west) Korosten settlement. On July 1945 was admitted to 45th TBAD. On 1948 was passed (with pair of other B-24s) to 890th regiment at Kazan. This Liberator was used for transition training for a new bomber Tu-4 (Soviet copy of B-29). <br> All upper surfaces are Olive Drab while undersides were Neutral Grey. Aircraft serial number 294829 was retained in standard positions. All leading edges (wing, horizontal tailplane and fins) were equipped with Gudrich de-icing system. Propellers' hubs were black. Red stars were in standard six positions (wing's upper- and undersides and fuselage sides) and overpainted US insignias. Tactical number 7 on the nose was red as well as inscription 'Orlovskiy' (Орловский). When this plane served in USAAF, it undoubtedly had inscription or painting on the fuselage side. Later it was overpainted. All surfaces was well-worned.
