One of the last piston engined fighters to be developed; the CA-15 first flew in March 1946 and was intended for service with the Royal Australian Air Force. Unfortunately, the aircraft was unwanted in the jet age and only the prototype was built. It was test flown until 1949 and was scrapped in 1950.
