Burgos, August 1936. Nationalist agents bought this passenger plane in Britain in August of 1936. It was used as a bomber (still with its civilian colours and registration?), until it was shot down in error by a German He 51 over Segovia in late August. Both crewmembers, Capitanes Jose Pouso and Joaquin Vela were killed. (Camouflage: British civilian Glossy Black/ Aluminium finish).
