Escuela de Polimotores [Multiengine School], Totana (Murcia), March-April 1939. The Republicans never fully standardized their air materiel. Right up to the end of the war they were using aircraft with mixed civilian-military codes, like this one. The last number of its FARE (Fuerzas Aereas de la Republica Espanola) code is carried on the fin of this Dragon Rapide used in the so-called Great Escape of Republican personalities to Algeria in 1939.
