De Havilland DH.89A Dominie D-2 served with the Belgian Air Force from 4 September 1946 onwards although before that it served by the semi-Belgian operated Metropolitan Communications Flight based at Hendon (U.K.) This remarkable machine was finally retired from the Belgian Air Force at the Elementary Flying School (EVS/EPE) at Goetsenhoven in May 1956.
