Pilot - Geschwader-Kommodore of SG 2 Oberstleutnant Hans Ulrich Rudel. East Front, 1944-1945. Anti-tank plane equipped with two 37 mm Flak 18 cannons. <br><br> Rudel was the most successful Stuka's pilot. He was 28 years old and colonel, when the war came end. According western sources Rudel finished the war gaining victories over 519 tanks, 800 trucks, 73 debarkations (of armoured barges), 9 airplanes in air combats, a number of trains, artillery pieces etc... This machine was often depicted with yellow chevron pointing at slat-edge of its left wing.
