In 1940 the first and the only piece of the French diving naval bomber Nieuport LN.42 was finished in the company having greyish-blue colour over all surfaces, national marking (cockades) and tricolour were located at the common places, the fuselage cockade was missing - this was usually replaced with 'testing' civil marking in the labelling starting with W-letter (F-W...) at prototypes, but for LN.42 was already not assigned. After war end and doing renewed tests, the LN.42 used to fly with aluminium paint over all surfaces. Location of wing marking is shown in the small drawing.
Note: fuselage roundel is exist. Most probably this is mistake.
