One of British aircraft De Havilland (Airco) DH.4 with engine RAF 3a prepared in summer 1917 for long-distance recognition of Kiel channel in Summer 1917. Planes with special camouflage were painted light brown with random light-blue speckles (on all surfaces). Blue colour of marking is very light on the displayed plane, also white strip in the tricolour on rudder was re-painted by grey colour. Serial number (A7459) on fuselage and on rudder was overpainted.
