27-02-1962 — 1970 year
The first VNAF Skyraider defected to Cambodia, it arrived on February 27, 1962, its pilot 2nd Lt. Nguyen Van Cu belly landing at Pochentong due to heavy battle damage, after a coup-attempt against President Diem and South Vietnamese Independence Palace bombing. It was not repaired and probably still wore VNAF painting and markings.
