Kawasaki Ki-3 of an unidentified unit, carrying an intra-unit identification marking. The characters on the rudder meant '93 Light Bomber'. The power-plant of this type was temperamental and, although they were actually versatile aircraft, they were the last IJAAF biplane bomber. They were operated by 6, 7, 8, 9 and 16 Hiko Rentai and were ultimately replaced in service by the Ki-30 'Ann' and Ki-32 'Mary'.
