In the second half of forties some Latin-American countries received free delivery of Thunderbolts. One of these countries, that used F-47's for quite a long time on, was Peru. Machine numbered 554 flew with the fighter unit No.13, whose insignia was painted on its nose. The national insignia layout including the numbers was similar to Dominican machines.
